The Moondogs' pop-glam-punk sound was discussed previously HERE. In that post we also told you about The Moondogs TV show, Moondog Matinee, which YouTube hero Gregorypope23 has allowed the world to sample.
The band's third single, 1981's "Talking in the Canteen" b/w "Make Her Love Me" and "You Said" has more layered vocals and jungle drumming to recommend it on top of those great songs.
And for some reason, far beyond my understanding, early versions of the single came with a free...neckerchief...?

Also, if you want to hear the band's Peel Sessions go visit Gobshyte! For the rest of MRML's series on The Moondogs go HERE!

Let us know what you think of the Moondogs in the COMMENTS section (which is where You'll find the "Talking in the Canteen" link).
