  2. Great stuff as usual! I've always regretted never having seen the Fastbacks live, so this is a treat for me.

  3. It's hard to recall how many times I saw them play ? Dating Kim when I was 18 was a trip !!! Kurt was #1 in my book as far as guitarists go in Sea. And one memorable show was when Kim, myself and Criss (Crass) Utting backed up Jayne County. They were always great ! Thanks for these Live shows !!!

You've always got great war stories but dating a Fastback, and the cutest one IMHO, tops almost all of them!

The band always had cool taste in covers (which will be the subject of our final post!)

  6. I ignored Mott the Hoople for a long time, partly because of their ridiculous name, but mostly because Iggy Pop mentioned hating Ian Hunter in some interview (I think he even referred to Hunter's "beady little pig eyes").

But hearing cool bands cover Mott relaxed my prejudices.

Lotsa bands show off their impeccable taste in choice of covers, but I love it when rocking bands pull out something unexpected. The Devil Dogs were masters of this.
