Thanx Jeffen for this classic session
ReplyDeleteThanks for yet another great post!
ReplyDeleteYou've probably got them already, but just in case you haven't,the two 'Purple Helmets' albums are available on the 'Sons Of The Dolls' Blog (19 march 09)(i think the links still work)
Jeffen, y'always will hear from me in thanks .. keep on plugging! As for this, will have to go down to the cellar, but I DO have a tape of the original Capito/al Radio broadcast, a full-ish gig (60+ mins), from memory from Battersea Park ... but will (have ta) check .. cheers, Dave Sez.
ReplyDeleteBack with the info, and my memory was dodgy - the Capital Radio live 1977 broadcast was the Hope & Anchor gig, now commercially available. This Capital Radio studio session was news to me - what I could find out was a date (recording or transmission?) 06/06/1977 CAPITAL RADIO SESSIONS 17MINS 1CD 5tracks. A real rarity, and despite the low 128 kbps rate, a star addition to the collection! Thanks, jeffen!
