I had the distinct pleasure of seeing the Scorchers play live in Stillwater OK- in '84, I think.. opening for Stevie Ray Vaughan, believe it or not. Met the bassist, Jeff Johnson, after the show, and he mentioned that they'd been touring with Nina Hagen in Germany earlier that year.
