  3. Joe Jackson is the man -- I'll admit that sometimes, after those first two great albums, his different zigs and zags left me behind at the time, but I can go back now and appreciate a body of work from a truly talented artist

  4. Joe Jackson is one of the greats. Great writer, composer & performer. He wrote a terrific book too, some years back.

  6. Yes, he is in fact The Man. Saw him in a small club during the night & Day tour and again a year later in a college gymnasium (horrible sound).

Followed him up until Big World, still like his albums up to then although I grow less and less happy with Night & Day.

Still wish I could buy those shoes.

  7. I've got a half-dozen or so of The Man's gigs, and they're all a blast. Always room for one more, thanks!

  8. Definitely THE MAN but as a bassist I was always inspired and humbled by the amazing playing of one and only Mr Graham Maby!

  9. I saw him in Boston years back in an open/outdoor theater and he was amazing...a big venue, but he still made you feel like it was a small intimate theater. Yup, still the man!
