One of a fifteen-volume bootleg series from the early aughts full of raw punk noise from the likes of: The Pigs,The Pathetix, Victimise, The Maggots and proto-pop-punkers Masterswitch:
Spunkstains Volume Nine link is in the comments.
Yes this is one of the incomplete volumes as well, I apologize for having started the series without noticing these little cracks but in the end each volume is still a little swill bucket of joy.
Speaking of comments, give us your take on these 'ere Spunkstains.

No matter the occasional incompleteness, it's cool, you are doing a good job!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to listening :)
Jasper
Hey Crimewave, would be interested in the peel stuff here as well. Or is Jeffen going to post it?
ReplyDeleteOh forgot, thanks for these great posts. Much appreciated.
ReplyDeleteDid anyone work out the two mystery tracks on vol 7?

Fucking Up is just one of the services we offer here at MRML. Enjoy, man.
Gary
Yup I'll post it!
No positive i.d.'s on those tracks but maybe soon.

The Bored Teenagers series is still in print (though a few seem to be 'sold out') and hence is ineligible for this blog. Don't worry I've got something arguably better coming up.
Hello there Spunkstains kids!
ReplyDeleteHere is another mystery song which I am looking to find the author. Is it possible that any of you maybe know who is the author of the song number 18 (! track18) from Spunkstains vol. 9, which I found on Soulseek.
I uploaded it here:

Otherwise, thanks for great uploads!
Keep on the good work!
All the best to Jeffen and everyone here. ;)
A very belated answer to Rotpunkt: track 18 is "Murder" by The Friction. It originally appeared on 1979's "The Voxhall Tracks", a four-band split EP out of Luton.
ReplyDeleteThanks Dan!!!
