HERE), Doug and the Slugs were a part of the Vancouver punk scene documented in Bloodied but Unbowed (see HERE). The band rate passing mention in the movie because of this 1980 independent single, "Too Bad" which would later be re-recorded and find them swept away as Canada's part of the new wave that inundated radio in the late seventies and early eighties. (The B-side, "The Move", has never been re-issued)
