I can happily recall hearing this broadcast on my local "cool" college radio station (WPRB Princeton University)and recording it onto an 8 track tape! XTC were the very first band I saw live (on a bill with Joan Jett & the Blackhearts and Jools Holland and His Millionaires) at the Capitol Theater in Passiac New Jersey in the spring of 1981!
ReplyDeleteXTC! Keep em' coming and thanks!
ReplyDeleteLive in concert--before pogo-ing fans--XTC is truly special (and appreciated!!) since we all know what a *short run* it was!

ReplyDeleteThanx! Saw them on the same tour as "Wilthomer", but at the Palladium in NYC. They were VERY loud but clear too. More XTC please!

ReplyDeleteAnd thanks for this one too. Excellent work!
ReplyDeleteLove the comments and I'll do my best to ensure you have a year's supply of XTC when I'm all done!
ReplyDeleteGreat site! I always find something interesting.
ReplyDeleteHaven't listened to XTC for years!
Back in 1981/82 an old school friend of mine was in a 'one hit wonder' band who were on Top of the Pops with XTC amongst others. Andy Gregory went out of his way to chat to my friend and offer advice - unlike the Human League who were in full diva mode!
