William Mysterious: Security of Noise (1982)

William Mysterious (a.k.a. Alastair Donaldson) played with Scottish folk band Silly Wizard before becoming the bassist (and sax player) for both The Rezillos and The Revillos.

This obscure 1982 single on Mezzanine Records, featuring a backing assist by Fay Fife and The Revettes, is Mysterious' sole solo release.

(More Rezillos HERE.)

(More Revillos HERE!)

The fabulous rips and scans of this deep obscurity come to us from Roberto - who has more Rez/Rev-illos stuff to come* - so please leave a COMMENT (that's the section where the Security of Noise link is) for our less-then-mysterious benefactor.

* That stuff will be along shortly but I'll take a little break so I don't get claustrophobic!
