  2. I don't usually like country music, but I was compelled to listen all the way after hearing the lyrics.I also had a feeling of the mortality of Dylan and the realization of the fact that we are going to loose the great talent of Bob some day. That will be a loss that is going to be extremely hard to take.

  5. Hi Jeffen! Thanks a bunch for the new collection. I confess I have not listened to many of them and have taken to just putting them on my own mediafire account to download later- my computer is old and I have to much music stored already. Hopefully in the fall I can upgrade.

A question: Do you remember or know of the singer "Melanie"? She had a few hits back in the day- "I got a brand new pair of roller skates, you got a brand new key" was one.
Anyway, she did a Dylan cover that I heard probably 25 years ago. And you know, the her performance of it was haunting and has stayed in my mind, I cannot remember which one it was!
    Do you know?

  9. Thanks for this, and I don't want to get you sidetracked when you've almost reached your goal, but I thought you might like this equally in-depth look at pre-Dylan roots. Not my site, just a fan.
