London Galling

The Daily Show, God bless it, hammered Mitt Romney on the fiasco-in-motion that was his debut on the international stage.

As Cenk Uygur  says, "To Mitt, we're all Palestinians."

In other news, The Economist, a paper so staidly conservative that someone once said that in the event of the Zombie Apocalypse The Economist would publish an article about the living dead's impact on the bond market, has skewered Romney's economic vision but not without getting a few shots off at his opponent.

Have at me...

  1. If I was christian I would pray to god that Mitt Romney is NOT elected president of the usofa...
Even after George Bush Jr, he manages to be a "step down" aka one less can short of a sixpack.

    Oh, the humanity...

    2. Great description, Jeffen, I'm going to use that on Facebook when the anti-Obama crowd makes their asinine comments. Funny how they're against Obama, but don't endorse Romney.....

  2. And to think this ass clown Romney is the best that the Republican party could cough up! The two party system is broken, Gary Johnson, the Libertarian candidate will be getting my vote this November.

    1. Damn I love genuine responses o political posts!
That said, I think advocacy groups and economic actions are the only way to get the system back in order.
After all, the presidential runs of Ralph Nader (a man who had some good ideas too) didn't fix the system but helped give us George W. Bush who broke so much more then we ever feared possible...

    2. It amazes me that the anti-Obama crowd conviently forgets about the great steaming pile he inherited from Bush/Cheney.

  3. I used to think Nader could have been a viable candidate until Florida. It seems that any major political candidate would need to be a millionaire just to get started, then they gave to accept millions in donations from multi-millionaires just to keep going. Then it's payback time if they win. I think it's nearly impossible to find a viable third party candidate now.

    1. Nader was great as an activist, I don't know why he thought siphoning votes form Gore would help his country. The evidence shows it was a disaster.
