  5. "i could never get past feargal's voice" ??? That's what made them great for me. How many vocal copycats can one stand ? But then again I've always loved obscure vocalists... Something that is utterly void in music today, If thought real hard I could probably come up with less than a hand full from the last ten years. We need more freaks !!! And I say that with complete respect, I'm a Freak and damn proud of it ! As far as the Undertones go, I think it was downhill after the second album, nothing matched the pop/punk vibe of the first two Lp's... JMO though...

    Yeah Fergal's an original alright, though I think it took me a few listens to adjust to the fact that he's a much more "proper" vocalist then so many of the late seventies UK punk bands had.
