  11. Joe Strummer was the first singer/songwriter who made me really listen to the lyrics of songs.

    And not just because 'Jail Guitar Doors' sounded like 'Jelly Guitar Rolls' on the taped, taped-from-L.P. tape I first heard the Clash I love. In my defense, I thought it had something to do with a blues singer like Jelly Roll Morton or someone like that...
